Curriculum Vitae
Winfried Ritt
Winfried is from Vienna, Austria. He studied Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Technology in Vienna, Austria, and in Berlin, Germany. He started his professional career in 1991 at the Department of Landscape Architecture in Vienna focusing on sustainable urban development and public green space. Later he worked for research institutions evaluating regional development and technology policy Programmes. In 1999 he joined the INTERREG IIC CADSES Secretariat in Austria as a Programme Manager, and contributed to the programming of the INTERREG IIIB successor programme. He then worked in a private consulting company in the fields of transnational transport infrastructure planning and regional development. As from 2002 Winfried worked as Programme Manager at the INTERREG IIIC East JTS in Vienna. He provided assistance to projects and participated also at their assessment and monitoring. He also contributed to update of the Programme documents and evaluation studies. At the JTS Central Europe JTS Winfried works as Senior Project Manager, responsible for the assessment and monitoring of projects.
