Curriculum Vitae
Dana Kaščáková
Dana is from Košice, Slovakia. She studied Economics and Economic Diplomacy in Bratislava, Slovakia. She also holds a postgraduate degree in Master of European Studies in Berlin, Germany. After graduating in 2000, Dana worked at the Department of European Union Affairs of the Slovak Ministry of Economy dealing with Slovakia’s EU accession and Structural Funds preparation. Between 2003-2005 Dana took part at various ex-change Programmes for young state officials in Berlin, Germany and Brussels, Belgium where she was involved in the national, regional and local institutional structures (e.g. German Parliament, Ministries, Regional representation office) focusing on SF and EU regional policy matters. As from 2005 Dana has been working as Programme/Communication Officer at the INTERREG IIIC East JTS in Vienna. At the Central Europe JTS Dana works as Communication Manager, with a specific focus on the coordination of the network of Central Europe National Contact Points.
