Curriculum Vitae
Chiara Casarella
Chiara is from Italy and studied languages at the University of Verona, as well as in Ireland and in the Russian Federation. She also holds a Master´s Degree in Design and Management of EU-funded projects. She gained her first working experiences working on projects for local development in potential candidate countries, as well as in the humanitarian sector in third countries. Prior to joining the JTS, Chiara worked for several years for an interregional organisation as manager and coordinator of projects funded under European Territorial Cooperation programmes along with the 6th and the 7th Framework Programmes. Her work focused on project implementation as well as providing support and guidance to the different consortia from central and south eastern European countries in the field of transport, transnational mobility of researchers, ICT – RTD policy improvement and regional development. Since November 2011 Chiara is working at the JTS as Project Manager, responsible for the assessment and monitoring of projects.
