Curriculum Vitae
Viera Sláviková
Viera is from Slovakia and holds a Postgraduate degree in Environmental Sciences and a Master Degree in Law. She has started her professional carrier working with Phare instrument, approximation of legislation and capacity building projects during the EU pre-accession process of Slovakia. Afterwards, Viera worked for UNDP and NDI aiming at strengthening local governance and democratisation processes in the Europe and CIS region. In 2006, she has started to focus on regional development issues and providing consultancy services on various EU funding mechanisms mainly for public institutions and non-governmental organizations. Viera gained a wide professional experience in entire project management cycle from drafting project proposals to implementation and monitoring of projects. Before joining the Central Europe team in March 2011, she worked at the Hungary-Slovakia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme JTS in Budapest focusing on environmental projects. At the CE JTS Viera works as Project Manager, responsible for the assessment and monitoring of projects.
