Monika Schönerklee-Grasser
Monika is from Vienna, Austria. She studied Environmental Engineering at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna. In addition she holds a post-graduate masters degree in Communication and Management Development from the Danube University Krems. Before joining the JTS, Monika worked for more than 13 years for the Austrian Research Centers (ARC) as a senior scientist, project manager and Deputy Head of Business Unit. She was much involved in the development and implementation of international projects within the field of water and environmental management as well as in the evaluation of European projects. Monika joined the JTS Central Europe Secretariat in Vienna in May 2009 and holds the position of Head of Evaluation and Monitoring Unit. She is responsible for the coordination of project evaluation, guidance and monitoring and all issues related to project management provided by the Secretariat at Programme and Project level.
