How to apply for a scholarship for an English course abroad

Brazilians aged 16 or over can apply for the scholarship for an English course abroad. The competition is open until 11:59 pm on November 15th to submit your video (Brasília time) and only one video will be accepted per participant. The video for the contest must be original and unpublished: it must not have already been published or awarded. In addition, the video must be up to two minutes long, in good resolution, with a maximum size of 30MB. Only .mp4 videos are accepted on the upload platform.

The most original and creative videos will be selected by World Study Brasil. The 5 best videos will be announced and published on the World Study Brasil Facebook page and the video with the most interactions wins: the most likes, comments, views and shares during the period from 00:00 on November 22nd until 23:59 on 3 from December! The winner will be announced on December 4th.

More about the scholarship for an English course abroad.The contest winner will win a scholarship to study English abroad and the winner will be able to choose which Embassy English school they want to study at. The schools available are:

Australia: Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Surfers Paradise
United States: Boston, Fort-Lauderdale, Los Angeles, Long Beach, New York, San Francisco and San Diego
England: Brighton, Cambridge, Central London, Hastings, London Greenwich, , Oxford
Canada: Toronto, Victoria.
New Zealand: Auckland

The contest only covers the course fee. Accommodation, airfare, documentation, food and visa expenses are not covered in the contest.The First Short Video Contest of the Instituto do Meio Ambiente de Alagoas (IMA/AL) will reward the winners of the five regions of the State and the capital Maceió. The award can reach up to R$ 2 thousand and public school students have until June 17 to register and send a video, of up to one minute, with the theme “Rios, Riachos e Cotidianos Ribeirinhos”.

The award includes the regions: Litoral Norte, Litoral Sul, Zona da Mata, Agreste, Sertão and the capital Maceió. In all, there will be six finalist teams that will receive R$ 1 thousand for each. The winning groups will compete for another prize of R$ 1,000 through public voting through IMA’s social networks.

Young people who want to participate must be between 14 and 18 years of age, reside and be students enrolled in any public school in Alagoas. In order to participate in the contest, it is necessary that the regulation be read and, then, fill in the registration form with information about the team, which must have between 4 and 5 people; municipality of residence; management and educational institution.

After filling out the form, which is at the end of the contest rules, one of the team’s students needs to send it along with the one-minute video; copy of an identification document for each of the participants and copy of the proof of address of one of the team participants.
