Central Europe growing together: Annual event in Verona
More than 400 participants took part in the Annual Event of the Central Europe Programme on 3 and 4 December in Verona, Italy. Themed “Growing together in Central Europe” the conference gave the possibility to the participants to discuss the future of the programme until the end of the period in 2013, as well as the follow up of the funding period from 2013 onwards. In order to strengthen the 62 regions in the eight Member States Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia protagonists of the already approved 66 projects within the first and second call of project proposals as well as a big number of new project idea holders discussed the issues of innovation, accessibility, environment and competitiveness of cities and regions.
