CENTRAL EUROPE INCREASES FUNDING FOR 4TH CALL AND PUBLISHES ALLOCATION OF FUNDS ACCORDING TO PRIORITIES

Following the approval of the revised Operational Programme through the European Commission on 25 July, CENTRAL EUROPE has published information about the reallocation of funds according to the programme’s priorities. Due to additional funds made available from previous calls, CENTRAL EUROPE will now allocate at least 23,54 million EUR from the ERDF to the 4th Call for Proposals.

The Joint Technical Secretariat published the availability of funds per priority for the current 4th Call in a document which can be downloaded HERE.

The revised Operational Programme establishes a reallocation of funds among thematic programme priorities. Funds were shifted mainly from Priority 2 “Improving Accessibility of and within Central Europe” to Priority 3 “Using our Environment Responsibly”. Subsequently, the “Indicative breakdown of the Community contribution by categories” and some tables had also to be adjusted (Tables 10 and 11 and Annex 7.5).

Another important change in the revised Operational Programme of CENTRAL EUROPE is the increased share of private national co-financing according to the current involvement of private bodies (see Table 10). Last but not least, the CENTRAL EUROPE output and result indicator targets were adapted to the actual average project size (see Tables 6a and 7a).
