National Info Day Czech Republic & Targeted training

The Ministry for the Regional Development of the Czech Republic, acting as the National Contact Point of the Central Europe Programme, organised Info Day for potential Czech applicants and general public on 12 April 2010 in Brno. The interested participants were informed about the main characteristics of the opened third call for project proposals and received valuable inputs for project preparation within this call. Among others information on good partnership and a sound finance system for project proposals as well as inputs on the evaluation process and project selection were provided. The documentation of the Info Day is available HERE.
The next step of the NCP's assistance to project ideas’ development was the targeted training held on 1-2 February, connected with workshops. The first part of the meeting aimed at instructing the potential lead applicants in the specific requirements of theProgramme in the context of the quality assessment criteria and the experiences of the two previous calls. The workshop part of the event had twofold aims: to assist the project partners in the project development process focusing on the activities on one side and finances on the other side. National Info Day Slovakia
Trencin, 8 April 2010
The Slovak NCP organized the National Info Day in the Trenciansky region on 8 April 2010.
The interested public and potential beneficiaries recieved first-hand information about the Programme, its current status, as well as specific information on project preparation related to the third call for proposals. In addtional also national requirements and eligibility criteria were presented and discussed.

National Info Days Italy
Venice, 31 March 2010

The Italian NCP organized two national info days dedicated to the CENTRAL EUROPE third call for proposals: one in Venice on 31 March 2010 and one in Turin on 12 April 2010.
They were both a success in terms of number of participants because almost 250 people attended the info days (155 in Venice and 93 in Turin). Useful information on how to participate in the third call for standard projects were given as well as updated information on the process for the launch of a call for strategic projects and the selection of partners at national level. Financial and technical project aspects were also described with a focus on eligibility of partners and the confirmation phase of the legal status of each Italian applicant at national level.

National Info Day Hungary

The National Info Day for Hungary took place on 31 March 2010 in Budapest. Potential Hungarian applicants were informed on important success factors for the third call for project proposals and new features within this call. Among others information on good partnership and a sound finance system for project proposals as well as valuable inputs on the evaluation process and project selection were provided.
National Info Day Austria

In order to promote the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme and to support potential Austrian applicants interested in participating in the third call of project proposals the Austrian Contact Point organised its National Info Day on 23 March 2010 in Vienna.

Info Days Poland and Targeted Training

To help all the interested institutions with preparation to the third call for proposals, the Polish National Contact Point held two Info Days in the second half of February - in Lublin and Białystok. These two events gathered 110 participants. During both of them the CENTRAL EUROPE rules and requirements were presented by the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) and the National Contact Point (NCP), eligibility of expenditures rules by the First Level Control (FLC) Body, and best practices and hints for project preparation by Polish Lead Partners and project partners. The participants had possibility to listen to the representatives of the following ongoing projects: COBRAMAN, REURIS, ChemLog, Q-Ageing, URBAN SMS and CUSTODES.
The next step of the NCP's assistance to project ideas’ development was the targeted training held on 9 March, connected with workshops. The first part of the meeting aimed at instructing the potential lead applicants in the specific requirements of the third call for proposals in the context of the quality assessment criteria and the experiences of the two previous calls. This session was held by the JTS representatives. The second part - specific workshops addressing each of Programme’s priorities, performed by external experts, aimed at the development of the project ideas’ content. There was also time for discussion and answering questions. 73 people participated in this training. The documents relating to the workshop are available HERE.
