Cross Fertilisation Workshop on Environment Projects in Leipzig
Tackling common challenges together
CENTRAL EUROPE Programme organised its second Cross Fertilisation Workshop for environment projects. After the first cross fertilisation workshop for this priority which took place during the Annual Event 2009 in Verona project partners of 18 different projects approved under priority environment in the first two calls met on 27 October in Leipzig, Germany on the occasion of the Euregia fair held in the same location. To get insight in other projects, exchange ideas on different topics and finding synergies between projects tackling similar challenges were the major topics discussed.
Common challenges for all projects like internal communication, the translation of scientific topics into an easy understandable language or the access of relevant data were discussed. But also specific questions as the most convenient way of getting maps useful for the project implementation. Synergies were found among the projects and further cooperation between projects working in elated fields were established.
