The Programme facilitates the generation of project ideas and partner search process by posting them online.

Interested members of the CENTRAL EUROPE Community have Project ideas that they would like to share with the CENTRAL website readers, looking for the new partners, informing about their potential projects.

Please find the uploaded project ideas below. Please, note that you are able to search according to the priorities of the Programme, make a simple fulltext search and according to the countries (based on country of origin of the project idea owner).

General aim of the Project
The aim of the project is to improve cross-border public transport connections. Issues to be addressed shall be (non exhaustive):  Institutional cooperation;  Enhanced use of ICT and ITS for better passenger information and cross-border ticketing;  Cross-border work related commuting;  Safety and security aspects;  Cultural and language issues;  Strengthening the regional identity of border regions;  Improving the operational service level;  Touristic aspects;  Integration of different transport modes.
Expected results

 Enhanced regional accessibility;  Reduction of bottlenecks concerning the trans-European corridors;  Better institutional cooperation;  Model solutions for integrated ticketing and passenger information;  Show cases for cross-border multi-modality;  Enhanced awareness among citizens on both sides of the border for the benefits of being a “Border Region”;  Shaping regional identities of border regions.

Partners' benefits
Through the project partners can develop new ways for cooperation and test model solutions within a European environment.
What is innovative
The project will be a suitable environment for developing and implementing both process and technical innovation. Process innovation can be new ways of cooperation (public-public and public-private). Technical innovation will relate to new integrated ticketing and tariff solutions as well as passenger information.
Follow-up project of
The project will take into account experiences and ideas from other parts of Europe as well as thematically related projects.
