General information
CENTRAL EUROPE invites national, regional and local actors from the public and private sector to propose projects and apply for programme funds. The interested partnerships can apply by filling in the necessary application documents and submit them only during the indicated period when a public call for proposals is open to the Joint Technical Secretariat in Vienna.
The information about the open calls for proposals is widely disseminated as well as published on the Programme website.
The Programme has already approved 29 projects within the first call for proposals that was opened between March and April 2008; and 37 projects within the second call for proposals that was opened between February and March 2009.
The third call for proposals that was closed on 7th of May 2010 is currently being evaluated and is expected to be finalised in December 2010. The launch of the fourth open call depends on the results of the thrid call and financial resources available. The information about realisation of the FOURTH call for proposals will be therefore available only in December 2010.
The Programme also launches in 2010 a restricted call for strategic projects. This call is currently in the process of open call for Expression of Interests, when public and private institutions can express their interest in participating in seven pre-defined projec concepts.
